WEDDING.

McEWEN—-COLLIER. A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Masterton Methodist Church, yesterday, when Mr Norman McEweri, fifth son of Mr E. McEwen, of Masterton, was married to Miss Gertrude Collier, second daughter of Mr Charles Collier, late of Masterton. The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr E. Collier, and wore a handsome wine-coloured travelling dress with hat to match. She also carried a handsome shower bouquet, the gift df the bridegroom. Miss E. Lfonard Was bridesmaid, and she wore a dainty cream dress with hat to match. She also carried a shower bouquet. Mr Colin McEwen, brother of the bridergoom, was Jbest man. The ceremony was perfo; ,ned by the Rev. J. N. Buttle. As "the parties left the Churdh the "Wedding Match" was played on the organ by Miss Church. After the ceremony a reception was held at. the residence of the bride's uncle, Mr E. Collier, Wrigley Street. The bride's present to the bridegroom wa§ a pair, of gold sleeve links. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold bracelet, and to the bridesmaid a gold brooch. )A large number of presents were received by the newly-wedded couple. In the evening a social was held at Mr E. Collier's residence, at which a large number, of friends of the bride and bridegroom were present.
