SEVERE EARTHQUAKE.
TWO TOWNS DESTROYED. SEVERAL PEOPLE KILLED. Received April 17, 12.10 a.m. MEXICO, April 16. An earthquake destroyed the towns of Chilpancingo and Chilapa, in Mexico. Eleven are known to have been killed, and twenty-seven injured: By the fall of a prison wall in Mexico city, where the shock was short but severe, several were killed.
