EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.
The Eketahuna County Council held its monthly meeting on Saturday. There were present—Crs Moss (chairman), Lowes, Pitcaithly, TomV linson, Connor, Dawson, Falkner and PRedpath. . Haswell's claim for compensation to £6O, on account of an • alteration-of street levels at Park■■ville. Mr Hercock's application for an ■ extension of time for cutting timber •on roads was left to the Engineer to • deal with. The chairman and overseer were au- • thorised to put in 36-inch cement pipes in the creek on the Pukohai Road. Crs Connor, Kedpath and the overseer were authorised to inspect "Olsen's creek with a view to saving > the metal there. The overseer was instructed to attend to the Hamua - Hukanui Road where it had been damaged.
