FOOTBALL.

A general meeting of members of the Albion Club was hejd in the Occidental Hotel last evening. Mr .W. Logan presided over a fair attendance. The' resignation of Mr T. ' Flaws, as secretary and treasurer, who is leaving the district shortly, was accepted with regret, and he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for the services he had rendered to the Club. Mrß. Keith was elected secretary and treasurer. Mr W. Logan was elected as a delegate to the j Wairarapa Thursday Rugby Union. The election of captain for the Thursday junior team resulted in Mr W. Logan being elected to the position.; Mr J. Dew was elected vice-captain and Messrs Reeves, H. Allen and W. Logan a junior selection committee. It was resolved to play a match against the Rover juniors at Masterton on Thursday next. A vote of thanks to Mr O'Meara for the use of the room concluded the business.,
