Ttoe Matawhero Shorthorns have beea extensive prizetakers wherever s&own, and the value of £he herd has been fully maintained and constantly improved every year. The sheep (Lincolns) are equally well-known, and are entered in the Stud JBook, the rams from the flock having invariably secured top prices. The sale list comprises 60 head of purebred Shorthorn eatfcl®, and 2,000 j Lincoln sheep, detailed particulars of which will be found in the auctioneer's advertisement, and catalogues may be obtained on application. For the convenience of buyersjt has been arranged to run drags from Featherslon on the day of the sale, leaving there at 8.30 a,m., on the arrival of the early trains from Wellington and Masterton.
