Good wethers made 16s, small 14a to 15s, sound breeding ewes from 12a down to 6s 6d for culls, best lambs 10s 3d, others 8s 2d to 9s 9d, culls 6s 6d # rams lgn to 2gns, 2Jyr steers 60s to 755, 18 months 465, yearlings 255, calves 12s to 16s 6d. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd*, report as follows on their Bketahuna stock sale, held yesterday, as follows: —•A good yarding of sheep of fair quality and a medium entry of cattle. Buyers were present from all parts of the district, and bidding was very spirited under the hammer. We quote Ewes, medium quality, to]lssld; cull ewes, 9s to 10s; fat ewes to 15s 10c!; 2 tooth wethers, 15s to 15s lid; ewe lambs to 12s 6d; mixed sexes, 9s 6d to lis 2d; cull lambs, 7s lOd to 8s 6d; Romney rams, to 3gns. Cattle—Weaners to 15s; yearlings to 16 months steers, ,$2 12s; heifers, 27s 6d; 2yr steers jg3 ss.
