KAOLIN DEPOSITS.

NEW PLYMOUTH, April 9. Several hundred weight of kaolin from recently discovered deposits near the town is being shipped to England forjjpractical tests at Whitefield bleaching works and Stoke potteries. The deposit is very extensive. Dr. MacLaurin's report states that its composition is equal to the best Chinese styreix or Cornish clays, and if found in quantity will prove of great value for pottery purposes.
