RUSSIAN FAMINE RELIEF FUND.

British subscriptions to the Russian relief fund have reached £IOO,OOO, which, with the grant made by the Minister for Finance (M. Kokovtsov), has met the worst storms of distress, but two difficult months winter remain, and the United Zemstvo Famine Relief Committee is in great straits.
