WEDDING.
MARTIN--BILLINGTON. J At the Kuripuni Methodist Church, yesterday, morning, Mr F. Martin, of Mauriceville, second son of Mr W. Martin, of Woodville, was married to Miss Emily May Billington, third daughter of Mr J. H. Billington, of Manaia. The bride was given away by her father and wore a handsome dress of cream voile, trimmed with satin and kilted chiffon lace and ribbon. She also wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. Misses Florrie and Bernie Billington and J. Maher were the bridesmaids. Each bridesmaid was attired in pink voile with cream trimmings. Mr E. Maher was best man, and' the ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. N. Buttle. A reception was subsequently held at the residence of the bride's parents, and a large number of guests were present. i Mr and Mrs Martin left by the afternoon train for the North, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's travelling dress was a navy blue tailor-made costume, with cream front and hat to match. 1
