ELTON COMEDY COMPANY.

In speaking of the Elton Comedy Company, which will show here tonight, an exchange says:—"The comedy, 'The Happy Pair,' is smartly written and full of brilliant fun, Grace Elton sustaining the part of Winnie with a charming manner. Fred Maymott, as the much-abuSed husband, acted his part with convincing reality, and in his song, 'The Only Apple on the Tree,' he made a big hit, and received three encores j before being allowed to proceed. Fred Elton was uproariously funny as the washerwoman, and sang his songs' with much vim and quaintness of manner. Altogether the performance was very humorous and well worth seeing." The box plan is open at Miss Rive's.
