MASTERTON WOOL, SKIN AND HIDE SALES.

Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report as follows: —We held our monthly sale of wool, skins, hides and tallow, yesterday, offering 30 bales of wool, 100 bags wool, 1,500 sheepskins and 100 hides, also a quantity of tallow, horsehair, etc. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and nearly everything offered was cleared under the hammer at full prices. Tallow was strongly competed for, and record prices for the product were obtained, as high as £25 15s being paid for one parcel.
