THE FRUIT FLY.

By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 27. The Minister of Lands has been advised of a further outbreak of the fruit fly at Napier. The Minister states that the only effective means was to destroy all consignments found affected. It is considered that Auckland is the source of the whole trouble, the dealers there having seared permission to pick oyer the fruit and distribute the apparently sound portion. ;
