PALMERSTON NORTH SUPREME COURT.

By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., March 26. The Supreme Court opened, on Monday, before Mr Justice Button. A lengthy case, Milverton v. Kairanga County Council, claiming payment of £570 and damages £323, in a i metalling contract, was concluded, to-day. The' parties have been in litigation for two years past on the same, contract, and at the Appeal Court the Chief Justice ordered a fresh trial of the case. Plaintiff was non-suited with costs as per scale. ~~
