Borough Council, hold on (he UClh day of February, 1007, a Besalution wns passed SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL EATi'], Th:\t, in.pursuance n-iicl exercise of the powers vested in it in thar. behalf by "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900," "TheLociil Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and ' The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :- '.'hat for the purpose of providing the interest and otber eharxes on a bun of £7OO authorised to be raised by the Mas-lerto-i Borough Council under the above mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing a Water Supply for the Masterton Borough Abattoir, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fiftieth (1-50) of a penny in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value (unim» proved) of all rateable property of'the Borough of Masterton, comprising the area described in the "New Zeri'ttiidGazett;-." of aist March, 1904, papo 9i33 (second schedule), and that such Special Kate shall be an annual recurring rate, during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on tho first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during tho currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or vntil the loan Ib fully paid off.
