That, in pursuance and exercire of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900," "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," x the Mubtai-ton Borough Council hereby res' lv».s as follow: • To rid. e u l-'pf.cial Loan of £7OO for the purpose of providing a Water Supply for the Masterton Borough Abattoir, and doth resolve that such loan to be raised under section 8 (c) of " The Locil Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 1903," for a period of 41 ye:irs at the yeaily rate of interest of four pounds per centum, and doth further resolve that such lean of £7OO and the interest and other charges in reppect thereof bs charged upon and secured by a special rate of one fiftieth (1-50) of a penny in the £ (pound) sterling uppon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Eorough of Masterton. Borough Council, hold on (he UClh day of February, 1007, a Besalution wns passed SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL EATi'], Th:\t, in.pursuance n-iicl exercise of the powers vested in it in thar. behalf by "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900," "TheLociil Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and ' The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :- '.'hat for the purpose of providing the interest and otber eharxes on a bun of £7OO authorised to be raised by the Mas-lerto-i Borough Council under the above mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing a Water Supply for the Masterton Borough Abattoir, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fiftieth (1-50) of a penny in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value (unim» proved) of all rateable property of'the Borough of Masterton, comprising the area described in the "New Zeri'ttiidGazett;-." of aist March, 1904, papo 9i33 (second schedule), and that such Special Kate shall be an annual recurring rate, during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on tho first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during tho currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or vntil the loan Ib fully paid off. The above Special Order was made at a Special Meeting of the Council, held on Tuesday, the 20th February,, 1907, and confirmed at a subsequent Special Meeting, hold on Tuesday, the 26th of March, 1907. , And Notice is hereby also given that the said Resolution will be submitted to a Special Meeting of the said Council, to be hold at the Borough Council Chamber, Chapel Street, Masterton, on Tuesday, the 26th day of March, 1907, at 7.30 p.m., for confirmation as a Special Order.
