THE SAWMILLING STRIKE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. INVERCARGILL, March 25. The sawmill hands who went out at the Southland Sawmilling Company's mill deny that they struck. They gave 24 hours notice as required by j the Arbitration Court award, but I were put on again for three days and then toldjjjto stop work. Fresh hands have been engaged, and the Company will not re-employ the men.
