At the Pira Brigades' Confarence, this morning, the Protest Committee, reporting on an appeal by the Ohristchurch Firs Brigade, in the 'Alarm and Disabled Hose event, decided yesterday,recommended that ihe protest should ba upheld. The report was adopted. The positions of the winning teams are now as folChristchuch 1, Dunedin City 2,"Timaru 3, Greymouth 4, Spit 5 .
