MASTERTON RACING CLUB. AUTUMN MEETING. SECOND DAY. ( (Special Reporter.) The Autumn Meeting of the Masterton Racing Club was brought to a successful"conclusion yesterday. The attendance was about the same as on the previous day. The weather was fine and cool, but inclined to be showery towards the end of the day. The course was still on the heavy side, and a little cut up, which militated against good times being registered. Though the fields were not as large as on the first day the racing was interesting, and the finishes in two instances exciting. The sum invested on the totalisator amounted to £6,178, as compared with £6,280 put through the machine on the corresponding day last year, making a total of £12,764 for the meeting, as. against £12,928 for the corresponding meeting last year.
