ATTEMPT TO ROB A BANK.

Received March 21, 10 p.m. JOHANNESBURG, March 21. Two men, armed with revolvers, attempted to hold up the Harrison Street branch of the National Bank of South Africa at Johannesburg. The officials returned the fire, and shot one of the robbers in the mouth. He was promptly overpowered and is not expected to recover. The other was arrested.
