MASTERTON ST OCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton atoclc sale as follows: Notwithstanding the recent rough weather we submitted a heavy yarding of sheep, and a fall yarding of cattle. At the start of the sale bidding was irregular, but improved as the sale progressed, and we have to report an almost total clearance in both sheep and cattle. The demand for best sorts of breeding ewes was keen, all young sheep selling readily at full rates. Good sorts in wethers were also keenly competed for, but backward inferior stuff was hard to quit.
