HOCKEY.
■GLENGARRY HOCKEY CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Glengarry Hockey Club the following officers were elected:—Patron, Rev. A. T. Thompson; President, Mr J. A. Macara; Vice-Presidents, Messrs P. Gordon, senr., J. McGregor, senr., D. McGregor, senr.; Captain, Miss J. McHattie; ViceCaptain, Miss I. McKenzie; Secretary (hon.), Miss M. McHattie; Treasurer, Miss F. DeLisle; Management Committee, Misses J. Deane, K. McGregor, 'F. Hood; Delegates to Association, -Captain, Vice-Cap-tain and Secretary; Coach, Mr J. B. Rue. The\ annual report and bal-ance-sheet showed the Club to .be in a satisfactory financial position. Several new members were elected, and there is a probability of the Club entering two teams for the Hughes Shield Competition. Practices will be held on the Showgrounds- on Thursday and Saturday afternoons. The Ka-i Kaha Club will hold a practice at Lansdowne this afternoon, when all members and intending members are requested to be present.
