THE MASTERTON MEETING. (By Zetland). The Autumn Meeting of the Masterton Racing Club, which will open to-morrow, should be a decidedly successful one. Good average ac■ceptances have been received. All the general arrangements in connection with the meeting will be found well up-to-date, and the racing track —although slightly heavy now consequent on the recent rains—should be improved in this respect by noon to-morrow. Quite : a number of visiting contestants have put in appearance, and there is every probability of the racing being of a spirited character.
