NEW WEAPONS OF WAR. i Received March 19, 8. i)i a.m. BERLIN, March 18. Germany is re-arming hov artillery with a new recoilless gun,and her infantry with a vastly improved rifle. In both cases the weapons are reported to be eclipsing the arms of the French. CLAIM FOR AN ESTATE. Received March 19, 7.41 a.m. LONDON, March 18. The Attorney-General, on behalf of the Crown, has put in a claim for the Page estate, 60 (?) square miles extent, covering one-third of the Middlesex suburbs of London and part of Hertfordshire. The estate is worth two million pounds sterling per annum. It is alleged that a defect has been existing in the title for 80 years. A Select Committee will enquire into the claim.
