THE THAW CASE.

Received March 19, 10.53 p.m. NEW YORK, March 19. Mrs Thaw's alleged affidavit was read, and implied that she consulted with Abe Hummel in an intended suit against Thaw. The case for the prosecution has closed. Mr Delmas has called experts in lunacy to show that Thaw suffered from insanity at the time of the murder. (A stenographer employed by Hummel testfied that Miss Nesbit (now Mrs Thaw) signed an affidavit in Which she stated that the confessions she made in Paris to Thaw were extorted from her).
