METEOROLOGICAL.
Mr J.-C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Tuesday was 8.67 inches. This makes a total for the three days rain of 6.05 inches. ■ The next highest rainfall was 2.89 inches fcn January 14th last, 2.49 inches on October 26th 1905, and 2.24 inches on February 4th, 1906.
