FLOODS IN AMERICA.
GREAT DAMAGE DONE. A TOWN DESTROYED. Received March 18, 8.30 a.m. NEW YORK, March 17. The floods in America (reported on Saturday) are subsiding. The damage at Pittsburg is estimated at two millions sterling, and 20,000 people are homeless. Fires in two sections of Pittsburg destroyed several factories. The floods destroyed the town of Derwent, Ohio.
