FOOTBALL.
A meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Thursday Football Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. Kooms last evening. Mr A. E. Recs occupied the chair. The
following officers were elected:— Captain M. Iggulden; Vice-Captain T. Meredith; Management Committee, M. Iggulden, R. Messenger, G. Rees, Winchester and Phillips; Selection Committee, Captain, ViceCaptain, Secretary, A. E. Rees and Griffiths; Delegates to Union, V. Williams and W. Harding. Mr A. Jones was elected an honorary member. Votes of thanks were passed to Mr A. C. Major for a donation, and to Professor Williams for a ball. It was decided to hold a practice on Thursday next. It is the intention of the Red Star Football Club to elect Mr J. C. Ewington, who has taken a keen interest in the Club since its formation, honorary president and a life member.
