THE ST. PATRICK'S DAY SPORTS.

(To the Editor). Sir, —As an Irishman, I think the Executive pommittee of the St. Patrick's Day Sports Association made a mistake in postponing the annual sports, because they should be held either on St. Patrick's Day, or as near thereto as possible. Also, I think the Executive took too much authority upon themselves. lam not a member of the Association, but if I werr I should ask the committee to make an explanation. 'Nuff sed! Ireland for me, Scotland for you, and England for we, and we for one another! —Yours, etc., EDWARD CQYLE.
