The weather was again fine, except for a light shower or two early in the morning. There was a good attendance. Heavy rain fell last night, but the weather cleared before noon, and there was beautiful weather for the second day of the Stratford races, though the attendance was spoilt. The sum of £4,327 was put through the totalisator. Results:County Hack Handicap. Silver Lead 1, Tambour Major 2, Somali 3. Also started The Clipper, Toddy. Won easily. A protest for inconsistent running was dismissed. Time, lmin 21 2-ssec. Dividend, M 6s. Stratford Trot.—Young Victor 1, Miss Edie 2, Kohine 3. Seventeen started. Miss Edie broke in the straight, and failed to again overtake Young Victor. Time smin 44sec. Dividends, £2 6s and £B. A protest against the second horse, on the ground that the rider was unlicensed, was dismissed. ST. PATRICK'S HANDICAP.
