W.F.C.A. HOCKEY CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the members of the W.F.C.A. Hockey Club was held last evening. Mr E. Daniel occupied the chair, and there were twenty, members present. The annual report congratulated the club on having been the runnersup for the Major Cup competition. Of eight matches played last year the club had won four matches, lost three, and drawn one. The balancesheet showed that the receipts had been £5 5s and the expenditure £2 14s 6d, leaving a credit balance of £2 10s 6d. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows Patron, Mr M. Caselberg; President, Mr D. Caselberg; Vice-President, Messrs A. Caselberg, J. Caselberg, Mark Caselberg, W. Pragnell, E. Richards, J. Ewart, G. Williams, W, Uren; Secretary.Mr A.C. Pragnell; Captain, Mr C. Fairbrother; Vice-Captain, Mr C. Smith; General Committee, Messrs J. E. La Roche, H. Richards, W. Minett, H. Hall, A. Flemming; Selection Committee, Messrs Fairbrother, La Roche and Minett; Dele-/ gates to the Association, Messrs Daniel and Fairbrother; Auditor, Mr W. S. Jago. It was decided to allot a trophy equal in value to that given by Mr D. 1 Caselberg for, competition, and to also allot a trophy to the best back and forward in last year's team. It was resolved to form a Boxing Glass in connection with the club, and the question of ways and means was referred to the Captain and, Secretary. • The opening run was fixed for next Wednesday evening. The following new members were elected Messrs J. Berry, A. Harding, C. Dixon, A. Gilding, A. Flemming, T. McGinnity, W, Horne, J. Russell, H. Lett, D. Kelly, W. Uren, G. Steward, Sh. Schubert, G. Bush and A. Ralph. The General Committee was authorised to draw up a code of rules for the club.

Nine members of last year's team met subsequently to allot the trophies for the best back and forward. Mr C. Fairbrother was awarded the trophy for the best back, and Mr W. Minett the trophy for the best forward.
