OBITUARY.
M. CASIMIR-PERIER. Received March 13, 8.30 a.m. : PARIS, March 12. The death is announced of M. Casimir-Perier, ex-President of France. The newspapers declare that his resignation of the Presidency in 1895 placated the Kaiser and saved Prance. The General Staff had intercepted German couriers with despatches, and also intercepted M. Casimir-Perier's despatches, wherein he was apologising to the Kaiser.
