UPPER OPAKI STOCK SALE. • Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report of the annual sale at the Upper Opaki yards yesterday:—Our entry comprised about 4,000 sheep. There was a large attendance of buyers, and a good demand was experienced for wethers, lambs and all decent lines of ewes. Sheep from this district are growing in favour amongst buyers. Prices were good, and the sale was quite as successful as in previous years, only two lines of ewes being passed out. Fat and forward wethers sold from 14s 9d to 15s Bd, other good wethers 13s 7d to 14s 4d, best breeding ewes 13s 6d to 14s 6d, medium lis 8d to 12s 6d, culls from 8s Bd, shorn rape lambs 9s to 9s lOd, store lambs 6s 9d to 7s 3d, woolly lambs 9s lid, calves 17s to 17s 6d.
