MASTERTON BOROUGH COUN CIL. | TfcTOTICE is hereby given that at a j3l Special Meeting of the Masterton Borough Council, held on the 26th day of February, 1907, a Resolution was passed SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE, That, in pursuance and exerciss of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900," "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and ''The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-- That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charees on a loan of £7OO authorised to be raised by the Masterton Borough Council under the above mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing a Water Supply for the Masterton Borough Abattoir, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one fiftieth (1-50) of a penny in the f (pound) upon the rateable value (unirnprovedi of all rateable property of tbe Borough of Masttrton, comprising the area described in the "New Zea and Gazette" of 31st March, 1904, pa?e 933 (second schedule), and that such Special Bate shall be an annual recurring rate, during the currency of Buch loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or i ntil the loan is fully paid off. The above Special Order was made at a Special Meeting of the Council, held on Tuesday, the 26th February, 1907, and confirmed at a subsequent Special Meeting, held on Tuesday, the 26th of March, <907. And Notice is hereby also given that the said Revolution will be submitted to a Special Meeting of the said Council, to be hold at the Borough Council Chamber, Chapel Street, Masterton, on Tuesday, the 26th day of March, 1907, at 7.30 p.m., for confirmation us a Special Order. MASTERTON BO ROUGH CtUKCIL. | NOTICE is hereby given that at a i Special Meeting of the Masterton Borough Council, held on the 12th day of '; February, 1907, it was resolved (by way of J Special Order) that the Masterton Borough Council make a By-law under the Municipal Corporatiens Act, 1900, the object . and purport of which By-law are as fol- ! lows : To amend the Consolidated Building Bylaw, 19U6, by adding to By-law 22 a proviso limiting the operation of that By-law, so far as business premises are concerned, to portions of the Borough contained within a line drawn 200 ft east of Dixon Street and 200 ft wes-t of Chape* Street, from the Waipoua river to Bfakora creek ; also a line drawn 200 ft north of Hall Street and Lincoln Road, and 200 ft south of Perry and Pine Streets, from Chapel Street to the Railway Reserve ; also all knd abutting on Cole Street from Chapel Street to tbe first branch of the Makora creek. t To provide that, the Council may, from time to time, extend the said area ly special resolution publicly notified. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a special meeting of the Councl to be held at the Borough Council Chambers, Chapel Street, on Tuesday, the 12(n day of March, 1907, at 7,30 p.m., at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-law will be fixed. A copy of the proposed Special Ordtr is deposited at the Town Clerk's Office, Chapel Street,, where the same will be open for public inspection during office hours until the said confirmibg meeting is held. TfcTOTICE.is hereby piven that at a Borough Council, held on the 2Pth day of February, 1907, a resolution was passed SPECIAL ORDER RAISING A LOAN OF £7OO FOR WATER SUPPLY TO MASTERTON ABATTOIR. ' That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900," "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows : To raise a Special Loan of £7OO for the purpose of providing a Water Supply for the Masterton Borough Abattoir, and doth resolve that such loan be raised under section 8 (c) of "The Local Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 1903," for a perjod of 41 years at the yearly raie of interest of four pounds per centum, and doth further resolve that such loan of £7OO and the interest and other charges in respect thereof be charged upon and secured by a special rate of one fiftieth (1-50) of a penny in the £ (pound) sterling upon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Masterton. And notice is hereby also given that the said resolution will be submitted to a special meeting of the said Council to be held at the Borough Council Chamber, Chapel Street, Masterton, on Tuesday, the 26th day of March, 1907, at 7.30 p.m., for confirmation as a special order.
