HORTICULTURAL AND INDUSTRIAL SHOW.

EKETAHUNA, Thursday,

The twelfth annual show, held under the auspices of the Eketahuna Branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, was held, to-day, and was a pronounced success. The various exhibits were of exceptionally good quality, and are a fair sample of the fertility of the "soil around this district. The entries were numerous, and the judging in the various classes gave entire satisfaction. The secretary, Mr R. J. McLean, assisted by Stewards, had all the arrangements complete. Exhibitors spoke highly of the facilities afforded for exhibiting their entries to the best advantage. The exhibits of pot plants, flowers, vegetables and fruit were most creditable.
