NEW HEBRIDES AGREEMENT.
Received March 6, 8'.36 a.m. LONDON, March 5. Mr Winston Churchill, Under-Sec-retary for the Colonies, states that Lord Elgin, Secretary of State for the Colonies, was in frequent communication with Sir Everard Im Thurn, High Commissioner for the Western Pacific, before and after the New Hebrides convention was signed. He does not intend to publish confidential correspondence on the subject.
