ARMY REORGANISATION BILL

In the;' House of Commons, Mr R. B. Haldane's Army Reorganisation Bill was read a first time without •division. The criticism was searching, but not unfriendly". Mr HaMane referred to the remarkable response of the country in support of his scheme, instancing the fact that thirty-five shipping firms in Liverpool and nineteen in London had determined to give preference in the selection of holidays to those going into camp, besides an extra week's Jioliday.
