LONDON, a March £ ® the London County Council elections there were 262 candidates, including'*llß Municipal Reformers, 13 Independents, 109 Progressives, and 22 Socialists and Labour. At the,! polls 509,091 Moderate votes, and'"360,301 Progressive votes were cast. Twenty-one Progressive ex-coun-cillors were defeated. The Municipal Reformers obtained a 'decisive victory, returning 80 members, against 24 Progressives, three Labour, and one Independent.
