Time. 3min X6sec. NEWMARKET HANDICAP. Ebullition ... 1 North Head ... 2 Collarit ... 3 All started. From a good start Pomlofs, Stepout, lolaire and Tortive were first to show up. Crossing the tan Ellis got in front, followed by Pomlofs and Istria, the next showing in the bunch being Grenadier and Dora Grey. Istria went to the front, and maintained the lead at the distance. Collarit came with a good run, and was chased hard by Ebullition and North Head. Af terja good racejup the straight, Ebullition won by a neck, half a length separating second and third.
