The Nelson Colonist reports that one of the young deer liberated by the Acclimatisation Society some twelve months ago recently attacked a young girl in the Happy Valley district. It is stated that the children of the district in the habit of playing with* the animal, which, when re-captured, seemed to be quite tame.
