WANGANUI MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, March 1. The .weather was fine this morning but the work done on the training tracks was uninteresting. Only one visiting horse has yet arrived, and most of the local horses have not returned from New Plymouth. Riflemaid did a couple of solid rounds. Half a dozen other horses were restricted to slow work. The nominations received for the Autumn Meeting of the Masterton Racing Club this year total 255, a decrease of 12 on the number received last year. The figures do.not include the Maiden Race.
