The Canadian Royal Commission on Life Insurance Companies seyei'ely condemns the investment of funds in speculative stocks, extravagant management, and abnormal expenditure to secure business. Tt'eevcrr'lv comments on unauthorised investments in fraternal societies, the stability of which ought to be legislatively as sured. The commission recommends more frequent distribution of surpluses, and rigid lega' restriction of investments.
