SALE OF CHILDREN.

Received February 28, 8.27 a.m. TEHERAN, February 27. It was stated in the Persian Parliament at Teheran that 450 children have been sold at Ashkabad, the. capital of the Russian Trans-Cas-pian Territory, and that 160 girls had been taken to Tifiis, capital of Caucasia, for service in the hotels there. The Governor of the Khorassan province of Perssia was accused of connivance. He has been recalled.

(It was recently cabled that the Persian parents of these children were selling them in order to raise money to pay taxes).
