SAD FATALITY.
FORTY CHILDERN BURNED TO DEATH. Received Last Night, 11.11 o'clock. OTTAWA, February 27'! Forty children were burned to death at Hochelaga Protestant School at Montreal. At the moment of the outbreak'2so children were penned in by the fire and smoke. The principal (Miss Maxwell) perished in a desperate attempt to save the smaller children. Her body was found surrounded by the dead bodies of the children.
