THE DRESDEN PIANO COMPANY.
The progress of the Dresden PianoCompany since its inception, twentyfive years ago, is a record of sterling endeavour crowned with complete success. No precise estimate of the< number of pianos and organs sold during that period is for the moment available, but were we to look' into, the homes of artisans, of farmers,, "of commercial or professional men, w.e should find indisputable proof of unfailing energy,, which is so charactet'isifcic of the company—that indisputable proof is the astonishing number of pianos and organs which have been; sold by the company and which today may be' seen in the churchy in, the school, and in homes scattered far and wide throughout ■ colony, striking proof,, if proof were needed, and remarkable testimony to the policy of the company, which fixes one price fot all, and sterling value uppermost, promoting successful selling and giving' promise of future success. To-day the position of the company is stronger than ever, but in its strength it is not unmindful that much is due to, that band of staunch friends throughout the colony who have been ever ready to. reconv. mend it for instruments dependable, in construction, honest, in value, and by the very best makers. There have been examples of this loyalty in the course of this year's annual sale in Masterton, which,, needless to say, is'warmly appreciated by the management. It is not surprising, therefore, that the company still maintains its reputation for generous treatment of clients, unfailing energy and loyalty to manufactures (renowned in pianoforte history and proved in excellence), making its name a household word throughout the colony, giving it front place amongst pianoforte importers, and maintaining a healthy pulse for fu-t ture endeavour—surely a remarkable record which any firm might well be proud of. The present great sale will be brought to a close in a few days.*
