SOUTH AFRICAN PRODUCTS EXHIBITION.
Received February 25, 8.44 a.m. LONDON, February 24.
The King opened the South African Products Exhibition, at the Horticultural Hall, Westminster. His Majesty expressed satisfaction with the Exhibition as being the result of combination by several South African Governments. The Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Agents-General* and an influential gathering were present. Received Last Night, 9.58 o'clock. LONDON, February 25. King Edward, in his speech at the South African Exhibition, said: "It is my strongest and earnest desire that South Africa should advance to prosperity, and, relying on the cordial co-operation of all subjects, I view with confidence the future of this great, interesting and important part of the British dominions. The Exhibition is evidence that, rich as South Africa is in gold and diamonds, she possesses still more permanent sources of prosperity in agricultural capacities."
