WELLINGTON WOOL SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having offered a catalogue comprising 420 bales. The wool generally was in ,a very seedy and shabby condition, owing to being late shorn. Very few bright free samples came forward, but anything of this description was keenly competed for. Prices were fully maintained, and in some lots a rise of one farthing per lbfwas recorded. Lambs' wool was very dull of sale, especially any lots showing seed, and these were ] practically unsaleable. The low class wools, bellies, pieces, etc., showed a considerable increase injrates ruling at last sale.
