SPORTS AT PALMERSTON NORTH.
The Palmerston North St. Patrick's Day Sports and Picnic Association will hold their annual sports meeting on Wednesday, March 20th, for which an attractive programme has been arranged" The prize money offered totals £BO, besides numerous trophies. The events include foot and bicycle races, step dancing, Highland Fling and Irish Jig, a hunters' competition and pony jumping competition. Nominations for the handicap events will close withjjthe secretaries, Messrs W. M. Eilis and E. Buttler, Palmerston North, on Wednesday, March 6th, and for the pony jump and hunters' competition on Saturday, March 16th.
