THE HOLLOWAY DRAMATIC COMPANY.
Mr Charles Holloway's Dramatic Company will inaugurate a four nights' season of drama at the Town Hall, to-morrow (Tuesday). The latest London and Australasian success, "The Coal King," a high-class play of the melo-dramatic order, will be the initial production. "The Coal King," is said to be magnificently mounted, and according to a southern contemporary, the scenic and mechanical effects are wonderfully realistic. The long cast of characters is ably sustained by a most capable combination of artists, headed by Miss Beatrice Holloway. Among the members of the company are several actors and actresses well and favourably known throughout Australasia, notably, Mr Robert Inman, Mr Jefferson Taite, Mr John P. O'Neill, Mr Godfrey Cass, Mr John Hesford, Mr Wilton Welch, Mr Franklyn Kenny, Miss Alice Deorwyn, Miss Rosa Conroy, Miss Mabel Russell and Miss Pattie Gourlay. "The Coal King" will be staged for one night only. On Wednesday the drama, "Two Little Vagabonds,'' will be staged, and on Thursday and Friday, respectively, will be produced, "The Shadows of a GreatCity" and "Under Remand." The box plan is now open at Miss Rive's, where day sale tickets may also be purchased.
