Howell and Co., Ltd., will submit at auction, on account of Mr Christmas, a large number of very fine pictures in oil and water colours. These pictures have been open for private view for several days, and have attracted considerable attention. The sale, to-morrow, will offer an excellent opportunity to lovers of art, as pictures of such merit are seldom offered in this district. A list of the various works is circulated issue.
