HOLLOWAY DRAMATIC COMPANY.
The Holloway Dramatic Company will pay a visit to Masterton on Tuesday, February 19th, when a season of four nights will be commenced. On Tuesday night Mr Holloway will present a mining drama, in five acts, written by Ernest Martin and Pewlass Llewellyn, entitled, "The Coal King." The piece, as its name implies, deals with life in and around a coal mine, and is said to abound with plenty of serious incident relieved by a strong vein of comedy. Miss Beatrice Holloway will appear as Grace Shirley, a school mistress. On Wednesday, the 20jth instant, will be presented the evergreen drama, "Two Little Vagabonds," a play in which Miss Beatrice Holloway, as "Dick." has made a distinct success. "Two Little Vagabonds" will be replaced on Thursday by an intensely exciting four-act drama, entitled, "The Shadows of a Great City," which will be produced by special arrangement with Mr J. C. Williamson, and on Friday night the season will conclude with the production of "Under Remand," an original story of London life, written by Eric Hudson and Reginald Stockton. Seats for the reserved stalls and dress circle may be booked at Miss Rive's.
