(From Our Pwn Correspondent.) Monday. Work is now well in hand with the metalling on the Eringa Road, and, given fine weather another few weeksf will see tlie work out of the contractor's hand. Large'fires are now to be seen almost daily in the direction of Longbush, where a large area of bush has been felled and is now being burned Stffould the dry weather continue much longer, winter feed will be very scarce. The grass is fast being burnt up, and the country preents a very brown appearance.
